What Is the Cathedral?
The Contemplative Cathedral is our communal prayer for a welcoming, co-created community of contemplatives learning, growing, practicing, seeking God, and doing life together. Our Cathedral is not built of stone, but with our participation and communion in Christ. We look forward to building this new cathedral with you.

The Contemplative Cathedral
About This Space
Join us online for contemplation and community. So many of us who are on the contemplative path eventually get to a point where we can go no further alone. The Contemplative Cathedral is a response to the inner yearning of many contemplatives for community. It’s a space to conspire, connect, and contemplate — our online home for all of our event info (both online and in-person), links, and groups, and a way to stay connected in between events. We have online meetings throughout the week, Sunday activities, and eight-week contemplative conversation groups where we learn, practice, grow, and do life together.
This space was founded and is curated by Contemplate Lincoln, a Christian contemplative community founded in Lincoln, NE. Since beginning online activities in 2020, our community has grown to include participants from many states and Canada.
Though we are steeped in the Christian tradition, many non-religious or inter-spiritual seekers also find a home here. Like Christian contemplatives before us — Thomas Merton, Thomas Keating, and Beatrice Bruteau — we practice deep ecumenism through dialogue, study, engagement, and practice with the world’s wisdom traditions.

How It Works — Three Simple Steps
1. Join — enter your name and email, choose a password. That’s it; it’s free.

3. Everything finds you — your dashboard shows only what you’ve joined; Zoom links and reminders arrive by email.
FAQ
Does it cost anything?
No. The Cathedral is free — and always will be. (Some retreats or special events may have separate registration.)
Do I need an account to attend gatherings?
Our regular gatherings are open to all. An account is how you RSVP, get Zoom links delivered automatically, and join circles.
What if I forget my password?
No problem — click “Email me a sign-in link” and you’re in. No password needed.
I’m not very technical. Will I manage?
Yes. If you can read email, you can use the Cathedral — and we’re always happy to help. Email adam@contemplatelincoln.org or call 402.802.9508.
Is my information private?
Yes. We never sell or share your information; it’s used only to bring your events and circles to you.
