Privacy Policy — Contemplate Lincoln
Last updated: September 2026
Contemplate Lincoln is a small 501(c)(3) contemplative community. We collect as little information as we can, we use it only to serve you, and we never sell or trade it.
What we collect
When you join The Contemplative Cathedral, we collect your name and email address, and the password you choose (stored encrypted — we cannot see it).
When you RSVP to a gathering, we record your name, email address, and which gathering you’re attending, so we can send you the join link and a reminder.
When you enroll in a Circle or course, we record your enrollment, your progress, and anything you post in that group’s discussion.
When you give, our donation platform collects your name, email, and payment details. Payment information goes directly to them — we never see or store your card number.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address.
When you simply visit the site, our host records standard technical information such as IP addresses and pages visited, as nearly all websites do.
How we use it
To send you Zoom links, reminders, and information about gatherings you’ve chosen; to give you access to Circles and courses you’ve joined; to send the newsletter if you asked for it; to acknowledge donations and provide tax receipts; and to keep the site working and secure.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who help us operate — and only to the extent they need to do their part.
Who helps us operate
Kualo — hosts our website
Brevo — delivers our automated emails (confirmations, reminders, password resets)
Kit — sends our newsletter
Zeffy — processes donations and paid registrations
Zoom — hosts our online gatherings
Google Workspace — our email
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing the information it handles.
